Your repeat prescriptions may be renewed without
necessarily seeing your doctor.
Your prescription will be
ready for collection in 48 hours. If you make your request on a Friday
afternoon, it will not be ready until the Monday afternoon.
Requests for repeat
prescriptions should be made by using the “re-order form” which will be
attached to the last batch of medication you collected.
When your drugs run low,
complete the re-order form by ticking only the drugs that you require,
making sure that you indicate where you would like the prescription to go
and hand this into the Surgery.
If the drugs that you require are not on the order
form please write what you require on a piece of paper with your name and
address. Your Doctor will check to ensure that this medication is
appropriate for you. You may be required to come into the Surgery to see
your doctor if the medication is one that you do not normally receive.
Complete forms can be handed into the Surgery, posted
through the letterbox, sent or faxed.
In an emergency, if you run out of medication, please
phone the Surgery for advice.
