Home Visits/Advice

The Surgery has a duty doctor who is on call each day.  Their duties include undertaking home visits and providing telephone advice.

If you require a HOME VISIT please telephone as early as possible in the day, preferably before 10am.  The Receptionist will ask you a few basic questions that will help the doctor prioritise the visits.   It is appreciated if patients can attend the Surgery as patients are often seen quicker if they can attend in person.

If you require TELEPHONE ADVICE please telephone the Surgery during the day and leave a message with the Reception staff.  The duty doctor will call you back as soon as they are able.   Reception staff are unable to give a precise time for return calls.  These will depend upon a number of factors including emergencies in the Surgery and home visits.    TELEPHONE health advice can also be sought from NHS 24 by telephoning 08454 24 24 24
