PRACTICE NURSING SERVICES

Sister Debbie Bates RGN provides a wide range of nursing services, along with Health Promotion and Family Planning.

The Health Care Assistant should be consulted for blood tests, blood pressure readings, height and weight readings and the provision of ECGs.

Appointments can be booked for:

  • Alcohol Cessation Advice
  • Cardio Vascular & Heart Disease Prevention

OTHER CLINICS AND SERVICES

Child Health/Baby Clinic
If your child is due a health check this can be arranged by contacting the Health Visitor. The Health Visitor is responsible for childhood development checks but all immunisations are now undertaken by the surgery team with the GP undertaking the eight week check and immunisations and the Practice Nurse undertaking all childhood immunisations thereafter.

Antenatal Clinic
The Midwife holds clinics at the Surgery on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

The Midwife can be contacted at Raigmore on 704342.

Physiotherapy
Miss Lorraine Geddes provides physiotherapy services at the Culloden Clinic. Referrals are made by your GP.

Community Nursing
We have a surgery attached community nursing team who can be contacted directly by phoning Southside Lodge on 230850.

Minor Surgery
Certain procedures such as removal of cysts and moles on the skin and ingrowing toenails can be undertaken at the surgery. Your doctor or Nurse will be able to advise you.
